ArmIGF is an open, inclusive, transparent platform for dialogue and cooperation.

  • It is an annual meeting
  • Brings together representatives from the public and private sectors, the technical and academic communities, and civil society.
  • Issues related to Internet governance are discussed; information and best practice is presented.
  • Contributes to the development of the Internet's opportunities, to confronting emerging risks and challenges, as well as to the universal understanding and solution of problems.

ArmIGF initiates The Internet Governance Council of the Republic of Armenia (IGC) which was formed by the decision of the RA government in 2014, in order to develop and present recommendations for solving issues related to Internet governance.

The Council members are representatives of different stakeholder groups such as the Government, Private Sector, Academia and Non-governmental organizations.

The Secretariat of the Council is the “Internet society” NGO.

The forum is organized by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, Internet Society NGO and Internet Society Armenia Chapter NGO.

The 11th Armenian Internet Governance Forum will take place on November 6, 2026, in Yerevan.

The format is hybrid – both in-person and online.

All stakeholder groups and individuals interested in internet governance issues are welcome to participate.
